Sally Gunz is a professor of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts, University of Waterloo. A lawyer by training, Professor Gunz's research is in the field of applied ethics, and most recently focuses on ethical decision making by lawyers in private practice compared to those working in a corporate setting. In particular, she examines how counsel may assume different identities mediated by factors such as the position they hold in the organization. This in turn, she observes, appears to affect how they might resolve ethical dilemmas.
