The future of our land, water and climate is under threat but large-scale ecosystem restoration can help reverse this. In 2011, the Bonn Challenge set a ten year target to restore 150 million hectares of deforested and degraded land. This short film describes the many benefits of taking up this vital challenge.

Produced by John D. Liu / Environmental Education Media Project (EEMP) in association with the Global Partnership on Forest and Landscape Restoration (GPFLR) and Avoided Deforestation Partners.

Shown at Avoided Deforestation Partners Rio+20 Event: Advancing Public-Private Partnerships for Deforestation-Free/Sustainable Agriculture.
