This song was originally written as a 'school song' for a primary school in north west London, high up on Hampstead Heath with spectacular views over the city from the upper floors of the building. The chorus is a reflection of this, although the double meaning in both literally and physically feeling "on top of the world" make it suitable for any school. Each verse reflects the reasons for coming together each day and how we should lead our lives with respect for others, pride in what we do and and overall sense of the difference between what is good and bad in life. Enjoy and feel free to use this song as you wish. Any feedback and news of it's use will be much appreciated and I'm happy to email sheet music if you email me. Details at www.martinstacey.com
