Richard D. Brasington Jr., M.D., FACP, Professor of Medicine and Director, Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program at Washington University, presented the 2014 David H. Neustadt Lecture, "Rheumatoid Arthritis Therapies and Their Development" at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on February 13, 2014.
The talk focused on understanding the huge change in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis which has occurred over the last three decades, a hypothesis-driven approach to identifying targets for new medication, and recognizing the particular toxicities which can occur with these new medications.
