Natasha Netschay Davies teaches social networking and media relations in Simon Fraser University Continuing Studies' nine-week Public Relations Program.

"It's all about connecting directly with the public online," said Davies, who is the director of social media for Peak Communicators, one of BC's top 10 PR agencies.

"It's fast-paced, it's interactive, and you're guaranteed to have information overload. You'll learn how to listen to conversations online and identify social influencers. You'll take everything you've learned about creating a media kit, turn it upside down, and re-work it for the most popular social networks.

"Social technologies continue to evolve every day. I never teach the same class twice. It's impossible. Everything changes from day to day."
