Video transcript:
Hey there, I’m Zachary Zane
I was 15 when I told my psychiatrist
That I thought I may be bisexual
He told me bisexuality DOESN’T exist in men
Since I like women, I MUST be straight
And I shouldn’t concern myself
With thoughts of sexuality and identity
Three years later, I kissed my first man
Six year later, I had sex with a man
Nine years later, I live with my boyfriend
And his compassionate wife
I am #StillBisexual
I have and always will be bisexual
Growing up everyone told me
Even medical professionals
That I must be gay or straight
Liking people of all genders
Was never an option
I now know they’re wrong
I now know it’s arrogant
To assume you know someone’s sexuality
Better than they do
We need to listen to people
Believe them when they come out
Believe that bisexuality exists
Believe them when they say they’re #StillBisexual
