After being pepper sprayed by SFPD while filming peaceful protesters at an Occupy Wall St West march and protest, volunteer street medics treated about a dozen people who had been pepper sprayed. I was blinded for about 45 minutes to an hour due to the rain dripping pepper spray from my hair into my eyes. During that time, street medics treated me and guided me to safety several blocks away. It was there that a local Subway shop at Polk/Ellis (753 Ellis San Francisco) opened it's doors and provided us a safe place to get treated and warm. Please support these amazing people. You can donate to the all volunteer street medics here (all $ goes to supplies and transportation) https://www.wepay.com/donations/oakla... and please go buy a sandwich from this local Subway shop!
