This is the Dreyse 1907, being shot by me and my grandpa. The dreyse was made between 1907 and 1915 in the German mepire, and used during WWI and WWII. It was never imported formally to the USA, but many were brought back by GI's. this one is a middle model, the serial number indicates this, as does the screw placement on the grips and the vertical cocking serrations. its chambered in .32acp, and has a 7 shot magazine. the swiss guard at the vatican used them until 1990 when they adopted the sig, despite being out of manufacture since world war 1.
