This juice is more like a shot, as I only used a small Bitter Melon (Pavikya). This Bitter Melon is native to Kerala India, and is commonly used in Ayurveda & Chinese Treatments for naturally lowering Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, and Cholesterol.
This juice is very bitter. My daddy grows this in his garden, and I figured I would ask him to participate in the video as well. He explains how it is a wonderful way to lower BP in malayalam which is the native language of Kerala.
While the taste is bitter, I actually enjoy it a lot! I usually like to have it as a cooked Veggie Dish (Pavikya Thoran).
