Bill O'Reilly Goes After Rush's "Racial Witch Hunters"

In light of Rush Limbaugh being taken down by apparent unsubstantiated comments in his bid to own part of the St. Louis Rams football team, Bill O'Reilly uses his "talking points memo" to excoriate "racial witch hunters" who were successful in bringing Rush down, including a man named Jack Huberman, as well as the website Flush Rush.

O'Reilly also compares Limbaugh's lament to the time he made those comments about Sylvia's restaurant in Harlem, and was chewed out by Media Matters. "There goes my NFL career," he said.

Afterward, Juan Williams argues that Rush is being "excoriated as if he were aracist, and that's not the case."

meanwhile, Warren Ballentine says that Rush started it himself, and notes that back in the 1970's, Limbaugh, as a top-40 disc jockey under the alias Jeff Christy, one told a caller, "Take the bone out of your nose and get back to me."

O'Reilly deemed that remark "off the charts bad."
