This is a brief 5 min screen recording of the experience at the Toolsjam meeting tonight (in Second Life) ... apologies for rambling on a little ... but hopefully it does give a feel of what we achieved.
... which was ... to be in Second Life (using the S.L. client/viewer) and at the same time being in Jibe which is running on the Unity platform ... and was working in a web browser. http://reactiongrid.com/

I was using Google Chrome but others were using I.E. and F.F.

The web-based platform is called "Jibe", it is running on the Unity Platform ... the Master Minds behind Jibe are also behind Reaction Grid (R.G.) and OpenSIM Platform.

It is very early days on this platform but I must admit to being optimistic after this experience ... to open up virtual worlds in a browser which may eventually have the functionality of Second Life (and more) does have the potential to open up VWs to the masses without the need for steep learning curves.

Many thanks to the R.G. gang and the Toolsjam gang ... I look forward to the seeing what develops.
