You are Watching the first Slideshow Video from the Playlist named for the documentary project known as the "Schaumburg Dailies".
This Video represent the documentary made during my stay in Schaumburg, Illinois from 1997-2006 that shows the daily life of four Canadian Geese couples that nested in a one in a chain of Storm Rentention Ponds constructed by the Army Corp of Engineers, The Habitat known as "Wetlands" was fast becoming an Urban/Suburban Area that was shared with the Wildlife whose territory the encroaching Cities were spilling into. these Ponds were a way of helping to contain and control Flooding, and to preserve smaller spots of public and green space.
In Episode One the Goslings are taken on a daily walk from the Pond at Twelve Oaks to another Pond across the road. This is the goslings during a 'Teachable Moment", learning from their parents how to stay together and to be kind to the humans they lived near.
