I built this.

extremely low budget, so don't complain.

The laser was ~5$ at dealextreme.
This is from team fortress 2.

I realized I say "Not horribly interesting" twice, and it makes me sound stupid. I should probably stop doing that.

ALSO! An awesome dude names Zodiac contacted me on steam and built his own version! Link Below!

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND. Here is a part list. This is as close to a tutorial as I can get. :D

"Stock - 2X4 wood that I cut and sanded smooth. There's an added chunk at the bottom, back end of the stock because the 2X4 was too narrow, so I just cut and glued a long triangle to the back. (home depot or anywhere)

Barrel - 3/4" PVC pipe. (home depot)

Bolt - I had a dowel that loosely fit inside the 3/4' pvc pipe. I cut that to the right length. Then, I bent a nail and glued a big wooden bead that I had to the end. I drilled a hole into the bolt and glued the nail in, and that was that. (probably home depot again. craft store for the bead)

Trigger - This was just a bent nail. The trig guard is made of thin aluminum (home depot for the nail, no idea where to go for aluminum. Home depot might have it.

The weird assembly inbetween the scope and the gun - I used little bits of wood I had laying around to make the three main blocks. For the piece with the three holes I had crappy 1/4" wood that I cut and drilled holes in. The back is just another dowel it looks like a 1/2 or 3/4 dowel. There's a little knob on there that I just made out of a very thin slice of a 1" dowel.(Pretty sure home depot will have this. Or craft stores)

Scope - the two fat parts are 3" couplers. The part inbetween those is 3" tubing. The part at the end looks like 2" tubing. For the plug for the scope, the part that you look at, I took a piece of plexiglass and cut a circle and attached it to a smaller piece of pvc. you see it in the video. For the other end of the scope, I made a circular piece of wood that fit into the 3" coupler. (def homedepot)

For the scope mounts I too 3" couplers and cut them and glued them onto the scope. the little blocks that attach to those were made from the same crappy wood as the weird assembly, along with 1/4" wood. (HD)

The scope guard or whatever - i made a little wooden triangle thing that i glued to the top of the scope. I glued a bent piece of aluminum too that and a circular wooden disk to the bent aluminum. The disk is 1/4" wood. (HD)

Wire - I took heat shrink (electronics store) and put my electric wires and some stiffer wire in it. The electricity wires carried the electricity and the stiffer wire I bent to give the heat shrink the right shape. The part where the wire comes out of the scope is thin aluminum and a piece of wood. There's also a thin aluminum bracket.

Laser- this is housed in a piece of smaller pvc, blued to the end of the weird assembly. I got it here http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx..."

I think that's all. Hope it helps. If you have any more questions, ask away.
