Excerpts from various films were put together describing three distinct moments: an oppressive approach, the students revolt (meaning what does happen inside an oppressed child's mind) and a concern for the person in question. In other words, instances of what mr. Carl Rogers would call the Person Centered Approach.

It's not exactly a criticism against old school models, only it points out where we should be focusing. Traditional methods can be used, however, person centered teachers do it in favor of the student and the person within. Teachers are not authorities. They are people as well, and may be respected for this.
