Hugh Rose and his officers escape in a horse carriage, little realising that Karma is the cart rider! Karma jumps out of the carriage. Back at the party, when Hamilton decides to run, a terrified Rao Dulajo announces that there's a bomb in the cake. Laxmibai cuts the cake. At the same time, the carriage burst into flames. Laxmibai then tells everyone that there was no bomb in the cake; the bomb was instead placed in the carriage! Karma arrives then and informs them how the bomb had exploded and the British officers were dead. Meanwhile, Hamilton and Rao Dulajo try to escape but are surrounded by Tatya Tope, Raghunath and Ghaus Khan. Rao Dulajo pleads for forgiveness. Tatya Tope tells Hamilton that their bases in Jhansi were blown away. Hamilton and Rao Dulajo try to escape. Ladai Sarkar stops Hamilton. Laxmibai then asks Hamilton to warn Queen Victoria that June 23 would be an occasion to celebrate India's independence, and not to commemorate the centenary of British rule in India! On the other hand, Laxmibai drags Rao Dulajo and hands him over to the subjects of Jhansi. The subjects seek death for the treason committed by Rao Dulajo. Will this put an end to Rao Dulajo and his sins?
