US Veterans Corps' project "Operation Coming Home" works with the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County, NC, building homes for combat veterans and their families.

Ebony Onwordi, US Army veteran, is the first female and widow to receive a home. She is the 16th Hero Home recipient.
