I just happened to be in Kidderminster for the Severn Valley Railway's Spring (more like deep Winter) Steam Gala when a railtour run by Vintage Trains would be passing through Kidderminster Mainline station just before my train home.

The tour, as its title suggests, was double headed Hall Class locos which were Tyseley's own GWR hall 4965 'Rood Ashton Hall' and Tyseley based Hall 4936 'Kinlet Hall'. The tour ran from Tyseley via Birmingham, Kidderminster to Newport and back. The original plan was to run the tour up the Lickey Incline on the return run but due to pathing issues this was not possible so it returned home the same way.

Here we see the tour powering through Kidderminster with the snow still falling as they were fast approaching Old Hill bank on the last leg of the tour back to Tyseley, whistling greetings with SVR Gala visitor Standard 4MT Tank 80072 which was at Kidderminster after arriving in on an SVR Train. My footage of the SVR's Gala will be up shortly.
