More women are expected to head technology startup companies because of a new program called Empowering Women in Technology Startups, or eWiTS. The program recently provided 55 women with nine weeks of training and mentoring. It was launched by the University of Florida Office of Technology Licensing, UF TechConnect and the Florida Innovation Hub.
