Former Senator Russ Feingold spoke at the home of Stephanie Grossman in Palo Alto about the need to pass the California DISCLOSE Act, AB 1648, to shine a bright light on hidden funders of campaigns.
He explained why it's so important to stop Super PACs and the special interests paying for ballot measures from hiding their contributors from voters.
Russ Feingold is the Founder of Progressives United and represented Wisconsin in the United States Senate for eighteen years. He's well known for leading the fight for campaign finance reform in the Senate and has always championed efforts to limit the influence of special interests.
