Quaker Oats did a lot of similar commercials. The commercial was done in a style of a point - counter point debate. An adult celebrity "debater" and a child counter-point "debater" try to answer one of the World's biggest riddles, by responding to the one debate question that is given to them by the moderator. The Question: IS LIFE CEREAL FOR CHILDREN OR ADULTS?

Casey is described as a banker and is dismissed by the child Little Leaque player. The reason for describing Casey as a banker instead of being a World famous baseball manager was done in the spirit of humor.

Casey moved to Glendale, California in 1924, and in 1957 launched the Glendale National Bank.
