Welcome to Pinnacle College, formerly known as the Sound Master recording engineer school! Established in 1972 by legendary audio engineer Brian Ingoldsby, Pinnacle College is the first school of its kind anywhere in California. If you're serious about getting into the audio recording industry, you won't find a better place than Pinnacle College. Small classes, the right mix of analog and digital equipment, and a curriculum that covers all aspects of the recording engineer career - everything you will need to to land your first and subsequent gigs. Our advice to anyone interested in this field is to look at how long an audio school has been around, the size of their classes, and the kind of reputation the school has among top employers. The purpose of our rigorous audio engineering program at Pinnacle College is to combine your aptitudes for recording arts with cutting edge technology to produce an individual with the skills necessary to perform at the highest levels in the industry. At Pinnacle College, our hands-on workshops are held in our own professional 24/48-track studios with computerized, automated consoles.

Pinnacle College offers an Associate's Degree Program in Recording Arts and a Certificate Program in Sound for Video Games. Graduates can pursue careers such as Audio Engineering, Recording Engineering, Mixing Engineer, Mastering Engineer to name a few.
