This video uses an updated strategy which I have not made a video showcasing yet, I will include that in this description when it is finished.

Basically the way it works is that if you let off of a button for one frame while entering the pause menu, you can re-press that button without it affecting any dialog box or option selects. This trick enables you to jump, attack, and interact with townspeople while having the mission select glitch active. Therefore, you can get the mission select glitch and enter the "Who's the Captain" mission at the same time, and therefore end the story early. Enjoy! ^_^
