Veterans are calling on US Congressman Brian Bilbray to apologize to wounded Marines for his vote against building a hospital to treat Marines at Camp Pendleton. On Feb. 13, 2009, Bilbray voted against HR1 which included $500 million to build a hospital to treat Marines at Camp Pendleton. Ask Bilbray to apologize by signing the online petition: chn.ge/RUFLy6.

Bilbray seems to believe that partisan ideology is more important than caring for our wounded warriors, or the estimated over 1000 tradesmen jobs the project is providing. We call on Bilbray to apologize to our troops and local workers.
The Camp Pendleton hospital project, when completed, will provide state of the art care for Marines and their families and replace the existing hospital built over 40 years ago. The hospital supports a beneficiary population of 151,000 with a military and civilian staff of 2,100. When operational, the 54-bed hospital will house inpatient medical facilities along with emergency, primary and specialty care clinics, operating rooms and support spaces. The new hospital will insure that our troops get the best possible care. They deserve nothing less.

We intend to let every veterans organization in San Diego County know how Brian Bilbray treats our troops. Ask Bilbray to apologize by signing the online petition: chn.ge/RUFLy6.
