Purdue University Cooperative Extensions Family Nutrition Program of Pulaski County, Indiana is funded by the Midwest Region Food and Nutrition Service and United States Dept. of Agriculture. The mission of the program is to empower limited resource audiences to: make healthy food choices, prepare safe meals, use food dollars wisely and engage in regular physical activity to enhance the quality of life. FNP is a partnership between the Indiana Family and Social Services and Purdue Cooperative Extension in an effort to improve the level of nutrition education of families and individuals with an emphasis on serving the food stamp population.
