Behind the scenes of Without Blood
LOD muziektheater | Inne Goris and Dominique Pauwels

In a nameless war, a troop of soldiers carry out a pitiless act of vengeance. During its course a girl and a boy exchange a single glance. A brief wordless moment, almost like love at first sight. Unwittingly they are bound to each other. Without Blood is about the consequences of war, and the undeniable link between perpetrator and victim.

Inne Goris, one of Europe's most inventive theatre artists, has adapted Alessandro Baricco's powerful novella Without Blood for the stage in an evocative and exquisite exploration of human relationships that uses sound, music and an eloquent movement vocabulary to create an extraordinary theatrical experience.

Without Blood, part of LIFT 2016, a London-wide festival of international performance.

6 - 8 June The Place, London
