Nick Bostrom is the director of the Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford and the author of "Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies". On 7 October 2015 he addressed a meeting at the United Nation's UN headquarters on risks arising from artificial general intelligence.
