Aldiko Book Reader is a reading app for your Android Tablet.

On the home screen you have the option to select how to view your reading library; in shelf view or as a list. You can access your SD Card to view your files or add a file to the reader if it is in EPUB or PDF format. The app also allows access to the Adiko store where you can buy new books, newspapers or magazines to read on your Tablet. The store contains huge catalogs of ebooks ranging from from best-sellers, classics and new releases, many of them free to download. Or you can quickly go to the last thing you read and continue on the same page.

In shelf view you can view your books laid out on a shelf with their classic covers on display. In the right top hand corner is a tab to sort books by title, author, your rating, or by ones you've read, added or finished recently. Alternatively you can search by typing if you press the magnifying glass icon in the very top hand right corner.

To read a book, just press on it and the text will appear in full screen on your Tablet. Simply flick your finger across the screen to turn the page.

If you tap anywhere on the screen you can see how far through the book you are by viewing the scrollbar that appears at the bottom. Press 'Go to...' to navigate back to the table of contents, where you left a bookmark or to add a new bookmark. Or press the 'Go to..' arrow icon and enter a page number to jump to it. You can change the theme of the background screen from Day to Night depending on the lighting of your surroundings or your personal comfort. By pressing Settings you can alter the brightness, screen orientation, text font and size and other layout options such as visible page number and text alignment.

By pressing Share you can choose from a list of apps such as E-Mail or Twitter to share your book and how far you've read with others.
