Shawn Michaels went on a special edition of RAW (2/13/97) to surrender the World Championship belt due to a severe knee injury that required surgery. I don't care if he did it just so he wouldn't have to drop the strap to Bret Hart... in fact if he did that makes it all the more brilliant.
