These pieces of the Sonata 9 by Giovanni Zamboni Romano come from his printed book "Sonate d'intavolatura di Leuto, Opera Prima" (Lucca 1718). The book is an example of a very late use of the old renaissance tuning, the "Vieil Accord". The instrument is 10-course renaissance lute made by Stephen Barber 1986. Arto Wikla 28.4.2012.
