The family members of Cycle Farm, a registered dairy farm located outside of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, are focused on evolving their operation to accommodate the next generation and thus maintain their successful family business. And so is described in their farm name -- Cycle Farm -- an ode to changing business cycles and seasons that are evident on any farming operation. The Brey's operation is a great example of the transition that many dairy producers consider as their children express interest in returning to the farm -- expanding their herd size, providing ownership opportunities to all family members, transferring the business, and becoming a multiple family member business.
