It doesn't rain much in Riverside County -- but when it does, it can all fall at the same time, creating the potential for flash floods. The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District has installed low-impact landscaping at its headquarters campus that helps reduce run off, improves water quality and doesn't need a lot of irrigation during the dry months.
