Chef Tony shows you how to keep your new years resolutions with his Reveo MariVac, as he makes salad and tosses it under a vacuum. Vacuum marination causes the fibers of the product under vacuum to expand for about five to ten minutes, allowing whatever dressing or vinaigrette you have included to be absorbed by the lettuce, vegetables, fruit, eggs, or anything else you have inside the vacuum. You have to admit, that's much better than just coating and hoping you salad picks up all of the flavor your looking for.
Begin with lettuce, mixed greens, are any other base you would like for your salad. Add in some tomatoes, cheese, red bell pepper, mushrooms, cucumbers, herbs, and anything else you can think of. Follow this with a small amount of dressing and your on your way. Allow the Reveo to spin for 10 minutes and enjoy!
