This holiday season, if you wish to make your dining area as festive as the rest of your home, a holiday centerpiece made with candles and flower decorations can add grace and sophistication to your Christmas dining table. In this Pottery Barn video, Floral Designer and Author Nico de Swert demonstrates how to make an attractive dining centerpiece to enliven your house.
Making a holiday centerpiece is very easy. Nico takes a large rattan tray and places three round Bosphorus Bowls from Pottery Barn with pillar candles in them. He then fills the tray with Christmas ornaments. You can make the tray look elegant or colorful depending upon your preference. Nico takes small round glass ornaments, removes their tops and fills them with water. He then cuts the orchid flowers and places them in the water-filled glass ornaments.
This dining centerpiece looks complicated but it is very simple to make. You can play around with the colors by changing the choice of flowers, using colored glass ornaments or you could add small floating candles if you wish to. The wonderful and elegant centerpiece is ready to be placed on your dining table. To explore further you can visit our website www.potterybarn.com
