A beer made from Stinging Nettles. Yes. A beer. Not a wine. A beer. Will I throw up in my mouth or sing the praises of this quirky creation?

+David Dowling Oh the stories I could tell you about the bottles bursting /blowing up in the larder under the stairs where she kept them - she never used demijohns, it went straight from the straining into the glass pop bottles! sometimes she got the yeast wrong but nobody lost an eye thank god! - she never used lemons - she used a couple of sticks of rhubab that she also got from our garden. You might prefer rhubhab? happy days David!

Wow that is really kind of you. Thanks! I met one of you guys at the Cornish food and drink festival last year in Truro and had to buy a bottle. Lovely and refreshing! I'll check the website out now!

hello hello, my mate and brewer of Cornish Stingers left his youtube page open with his last visit and as much as i fancied playing around with it a bit i thought its better to do something constructive with it ;) So.... i spotted this great independent review and went and added it to our new cornishstingers website , hope you don't mind! if so drop us quick line! and hope it gets you many more hits too, cheers Tuvar

@Foodswild Cheers mate. Was a real experience and I am now thinking of attempting to send a few bottles over to the States as I know a few reviewers who would love this flavour. Cheers!

@sofakingdrunk66 Haha the colour was really strange but the flavour was really nice!

@bluelebowski She's very astute for someone who just drinks Coors Light.

Hehe...great watchability, the new to nettle beer experience...have seen it many times working on the stall, but great to see in this context! Lou isnt the first person to say smoky bacon either!! Hears to your next bottle!

Could to see your nose and taste buds outdone by someone else for a change!
