Between 2016 and 2020, we are conducting a community based research study on the lived experience and impact of HIV Stigma on diverse persons living with HIV. We reckon that we all have many different ideas of what “stigma” means, the impact it has, where it is felt and how we all might contribute to stigmatizing others. In HIV Stigma 102, we describe the contexts in which stigma happens often. This is a companion video to HIV Stigma 101, that you can find here https://youtu.be/gHxkFWo-H2U. They can be used for teaching or facilitation of community base research teams in the field of HIV. If you have any questions, please email Francisco at ibanezcarraf(at)smh(dot)ca.
