I got this laptop almost a month back, by the end of week-1 I ran some synthetic stress tests to see how far the thermals go on this laptop and also how loud the fan gets under full load.
It turned out to be pretty easy task to get the fan spinning like a mini blow dryer haha.
There was this one thing that bothered me after those test were ran, it was the fact that under full synthetic CPU + GPU stress, the laptop started to thermal throttle to keep the temps under control which also means the CPU will be underclocked if needed which it did.
In all honesty it isn't really an issue because it's under extremely high artificial stress loads that won't happen in a game and these apps are used to check system stability than anything (After overclocking etc) the apps used were AIDA64 paired with furmark incase you were wondering.
With that said, I knew at that moment there was room for improvement and I headed my way to swap out the original thermal paste with a known good one along with undervolting it which significantly improved the thermal throttling issue along with the CPU turboing higher than before and evidently bring thermal temps under maximum load to same temperature BUT what the important part was that the temps were stable along with the CPU being stable at a higher frequency than it was comfortable with going at previously.
So basically at the end of the whole thing I ended up with a system utilizing hardware more efficiently and have lower temperatures compared to before in regular light tasks such as watching a Youtube video.
