In the spring of 2009, Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio hosted artist in residence PR Miller. Along with students from the college, Miller created a "sensory garden" for the clients of the Villa Maria Dementia Center. The key elements of the sensory garden are sculptures made out of recycled materials, hundreds of arranged bowling balls, landscaping, and a very long fence mural. The result: an explosion of color. It was funded by a Special Project Grants from ArtsinStark.
