“Million Dollar Quartet,” the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, will be captivating Branson audiences with this brilliant presentation that depicts a phenomenal moment in the history of rock ‘n roll - the jam session that brought together music icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins! In 1956, rocker Carl Perkins scheduled a recording session at Sun Studios in Memphis, joined by his band and another rock ‘n roller, Jerry Lee Lewis. They were soon joined by Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash and the rest is music history! They sang the blues, gospel, rock ‘n roll, rockabilly, and what was fondly known at the time as country western music.

“Million Dollar Quartet” will treat you to sensational songs like Matchbox, That’s All right, I Walk the Line, Riders in the Sky, Hound Dog, Peace in the Valley, Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On, Blue Suede Shoes, and Who Do You Love. This is not simply a tribute show; it’s a loving homage to four of popular music’s brightest stars. Three of these legends left us far too soon, but they forged an unforgettable place in music history. In addition to these phenomenal entertainment icons, “Million Dollar Quartet” features a supporting cast of other players that shared this classic event, including Elvis’ girlfriend, Dyanne, and Carl’s brother, Jay.

Branson is famous for its incredible variety of exceptionally high quality live entertainment, but even Branson has found a way to up the ante, and it’s the “Million Dollar Quartet,” the celebration of one of music’s most memorable events. Be there!
