Becky Sebo's Student Research Project 2012 presented at the Student Expo at Ohio University.

Objective: To study how culture influences choreography and then create a dance piece influenced by my own culture.

Significance of my piece: My culture influenced me to create a piece based on how I live through my Judaism. Different motifs within my movement represent the ideas that I have grown up with and what ideas I chose to stay with. This piece is about me externalizing my internal beliefs, and determining for myself what religious and cultural ideas are most important to me.

Choreography and Performance by Becky Sebo
Videography by Alex Bolinger
Music composed by Shirona, Perofmed by Cantor Kathryn Wolfe Sebo, Accompanied by Bill Toler, Produce by John Guggenheim
