Becky Sebo's Student Research Project 2012 presented at the Student Expo at Ohio University.
Objective: To study how culture influences choreography and then create a dance piece influenced by my own culture.
Significance of my piece: My culture influenced me to create a piece based on how I live through my Judaism. Different motifs within my movement represent the ideas that I have grown up with and what ideas I chose to stay with. This piece is about me externalizing my internal beliefs, and determining for myself what religious and cultural ideas are most important to me.
