The Oregon Duck football team enters the Rose Bowl for the first time on January 2, 2012. The team left their Los Angeles based hotel and drove to Pasadena under police escort.

The Ducks were the 2nd team to arrive on that Monday morning and unlike the Badgers, were dressed casually in warmup gear (players).

First to depart the team bus is head coach Chip Kelly followed by offensive line coach Steve Greatwood and offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich.

This was the Ducks second trip to the Rose Bowl in three years and their third consecutive BCS game.

The Ducks beat the Wisconsin Badgers 45 to 38 in the highest scoring Rose Bowl ever.
