While most IS systems only compensate camera shake in two axis directions, the OM-D's IS system is the first in the world to compensate for camera shake in 5 axis directions.

5-axis directions are,vertical angle rotation,horizontal angle rotation,horizontal shift,vertical shift,。 and rolling camera shake.

The gyroscopic sensors instantaneously detect the amount of camera shake and IS unit built-in the camera body accurately compensates for camera shake.

Activate the IS unit simply by holding down the shutter button half-way. You can frame the shot while seeing the stabilized image.

Camera shift during macro shooting, rolling camera shake at low shutter speeds, and camera shake when shooting movies shooting while walking.
