"Create Life" is an interactive sculpture that allows the user an opportunity to create synthetic life. It was done by Robert Kieronski. More of his works can be seen at website: www.lumion.net The piece derives from the Urey-Miller experiment of the '50s. In that experiment a closed simulation of early earth conditions was successful in producing amino acids, the base chains of life. The user communicates with the reaction through a pinball-like interface, using it to modify reaction parameters. So far, no one has succeeded. But.....just wait ! Something may happen. This piece is at the Newport Art Museum, Newport, RI. Still photographs can be seen at: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/p...
