Curtis Donihoo
I will say the movie didnt explain why the car was evil. But I liked that it was already evil!
+Curtis Donihoo Christine wasn't really that evil, she killed mostly jerks who deserved to die really evil was THE CAR which killed at randoom
Please enough with the Intro Already !
You should read it again, there's a part where Arnie talks to Dennis *as* Roland LeBay, because he's possessed with him, and the entire ending of the novel dealt with taking out christine once they realized LeBay's spirit can only possess either arnie or the car at one time, this is also why all the murders happened when Arnie was out of town, and why his personality changed back to normal at those times, this is EXPLICITLY stated in the novel.

It wasn't though. I'm pretty sure the implication was that Arnie began acting like the previous owner, because that is what Christine did to the old man as well, as opposed to Arnie being possessed, or oppressed, or otherwise influenced by the old man. Christine is just a car with the personality of a self centered girlfriend.

I kind of wish they added the element of LeBay's rotting corpse appearing in the car with Arnie (the only reason they didn't add it was because "American Werewolf in London" did it first) but still a good film and book. I was awake till 5 in the morning when I first watched the movie.

It's super crazy boring
I think Keith Gorden was such a great Arnie!

That's one place where the movie didn't do it justice. In the movie, he wasn't so bad of a guy, just had shit friends. But, he did let them into the airport parking lot (where the car was parked in the book) to trash Christine, so it was kind've warranted, but not as much as the other Jackasses. All in all, I would say that this is one of the better adaptations of a Stephen King novel along with The Green Mile.

I'm not a scout....best line ever LOL
Yes. Do you really need to be an insufferable asshole? Yeah, probably. But do it elsewhere.
