I still have to to make a dummy's guide to this where you have a dummy router  like a KEEBOX, and you want to separate it from your network, on the other side, and still get to control things like XBMC from port 80.     Funny, I know the logic behind it but it still mesmersing how hard it is for me to envision how it works.   Funny how the brain works sometimes.

For all of you who can't get it to work make sure you have a static IP set up you cannot port-forward if you don't! 1. Go to control panel 2. Select (Network and Internet) 3. Select (Network and Sharing Center) 4.Select (Change Adapter Settings) 5. Right Click (Your Active Connection) 6. Click Properties. 7. Double click (Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4) 8. Select (Use the following IP address) and (use the following DNS server address) 9. Now enter the ip address you use when following the video click enter. 10. enter your router/modems IP in (default gateway) and the first line in(DNS server adress) EXAMPLE (((Use Following IP address)) \\\if you use this make sure you change the settings in port forwarding//// IP: Sub mask; (is automatic so once IP is entered it will generate) Default Gateway(Routers IP) Preferred DNS: (Routers IP) YOU MUST ALSO ALLOW THE PORT THROUGH YOU WINDOWS OR LINUX FIREWALL Dont be afraid to ask me any questions!
