If you Thumb Down this Video - then you really don't get what this video is for:
This is so Men & Women know what to expect when having a stent removed. This will allow a patient to ask questions and make sure they are comfortable when this procedure is being performed.

Doctors should let you know that urination for many days after this "can" be knee buckling and you really want to sit or have someone help you stand, especially the first day. - Everyone is different, few have no pain after, some do... it is always better to be prepared for anything...

PLEASE NOTE MY FATHER IS IN HIS LATE 60's WHEN THIS WAS PREFORMED -
SO ALL PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT WITH TOLERATING PAIN - He hardly ever has gotten sick and has had only a few doctors visits in his life.

My father had the stent removed with his penis as the entry point for the tool . The blue "wire" on the monitor is the STENT and a camera was sent in first followed by the "retrieving" tool, which the doctor used to grab a hold of the stent and was pulled back out though his penis, very quickly! Did you notice that the doctor misses the stent on the first try?? Very quick

This is where I think most of the pain is obtained, with the exiting, he pulled very fast! If he had gone just a bit slower it would have alleviated the majority of the pain my father endured. I am aware that my father was whining and the doctor just wanted to get it done. My friend is a nurse (soon Doctor) and that's how they are trained to deal with issues, "get 'er done" he says.

I shot this video on my phone best I could with him having a death grip on me. Doctor was funny!
I had to laugh when he said "first pregnancy of the day." It is only after I uploaded the video did I notice the missing of the stent and exactly how fast he removed it, which is not funny. I wouldn't want that to happen to me or anyone else.

Tell your doctor to "take your time."
