The Native American Style Flute is VERY easy to play. If you can make sound with a whistle, you can play this flute. All that is necessary is to be able to cover the holes easily and blow GENTLY into the flute. Once you can make the base note, simply go up and down the scale. THAT"S IT! The Minor Pentatonic scale is a very friendly scale. It is impossible to hit a wrong note. If your flute is in this scale, it does not matter which notes you play in whatever order you want. The music will sound good! Listen to Native American Flute players, that is all they do too just go up and down the scale. In my opinion, the soul and spirit of this instrument is to play it meditatively by going up and down the scale.
