Jonas Edvard Nielsen, industrial designer and creator of Mushroom Lamp - a lamp made from waste, transformed by mushrooms and dried to a lamp shape - spoke at the DAMADEI Crossover Evening at Design Society.

The DAMADEI project has not been tailored to present a host of recommendations -- it highlights potentials and challenges for innovation. But the key findings of the DAMADEI project will typically be woven into the general innovation strategy work of the EU, which will be very useful as Maria Hørmann sees it. The findings could also inspire EU to make a call which will be specific recommendations within the design and innovation area.
About DAMADEI Partners in DAMADEI are Materio, Prag, Materfad, Barcelona and Danish Design Centre, Denmark
