The two mini-quilts shown are examples of a two-point perspective (top) and three-point perspective (bottom). In the two-point perspective, there are two points at infinity on the picture plane. The three-point perspective has three points of infinity on the picture plane. Both perspectives are used by artists to indicate spatial relationships.
