Members of the Premiers Council for Economic Strategy had their first face-to-face meeting in Edmonton in March. Premier Ed Stelmach created the international panel to provide counsel on how best to plan for the long-term prosperity of the Province of Alberta. The council, chaired by David Emerson, will provide advice on the actions government can take so future generations of Albertans will enjoy a top quality of life.
