im Canadian and ur 100% right lmao the guy above is wrong in a way.... were healthier and live longer then Americans, but we eat better then Americans. so it's nothing to do with healthcare.

capitalism fits everywhere other then military, federal police, and fire service. capitalism revolutionized cars, clothes, science, everything. even military by having gun companies. healthcare would be better as well, there is more pros then cons when it comes to privatized healthcare.

I appreciate your thoughts, but you only think from the perspective of the pharmaceutical industry and not from the insurer or patient. Patients generally want to take one pill that works and be done with it. The insurer wants that this pill is the most cost-effective solution. Competition is key - same applies to the absurd pricing. Security is -and will always be- a problem. You can't just burn up all resources to find a perfect pill. The big problem today is patents, not capitalism/socialism.

in what context do you mean ruling?

Remember the other side of what I said in which technology will soon become subpar at best because they have no real reason to better themselves because the government only cares about giving you half way decent healthcare and as soon as they see something else that they want to settle all of their money into, will more time than not let the technological and clinical advancement stagnate and you are then stuck with this healthcare that will soon start to fail because of lack of progress.

You know, where i live. (denmark, free healthcare) You dont have to wait to get to a docter, you only have to wait for things such as a new kidney or a operation etc. And while you wait you stay at the hospital (fo free) and you will be stabilized so you could basicly stay there forever and be fine. BUT, if you have the money, you can go to a private clinic where you get taken care of almost instantly.
Chris Adcock
Yea you might free healthcare but the quality of everything that comes with that healthcare is going to become subpar and again having to wait a large amount of time before you able to even go to the doctor is like not having it at all because by the time the appointment probably comes around you might be in horrible shape over it all together or dead so at least in capitalism if you work hard you make the money then will be able to by good health insurance and will be able to get care quickly
Fozzer21
yeah, you might be able to get it right away, but its gonna cost you, and not everybody in the us can affort that
